Beagle,
You are a skilled artist. Love your work. The sailing ships look amazing.

Thanks a lot Hoth, it was a real joy to paint!
And here is something a little new for me, some AWI British grenadiers, 10mm.

I'll need to paint four more before I can base them.

Those are very nice British Grenadiers, Bill! Are those by Pendraken? I saw a tutorial on Little Wars about 10mm AWI by Pendraken that they used for Brandywine and Trenton games.

Re: Bills stuff
They are Pendraken Pete. I’m starting with a few packs of grenadiers and British artillery.

Tough lookin’ hombres. I’m not messing with them and those bayonets.
Nice looking.

Re: Bills stuff
Thanks, Bill! I would love to see GHQ do AWI in 10mm but I don't think it will happen. Another possibility for GHQ would be to do our War of 1812 as an expansion to their Napoleonic line.

Re: Bills stuff
Thanks a lot Chris, the Brown Bess was a big musket!
Pete, there aren’t too many companies that do 10mm AWI. GHQ hasn’t done anything with the Napoleonic, or ACW line in forever, so I agree, an AWI line in probably a dream. Pendraken doesn’t make 1812 American, I’m not sure if anyone else does in 10mm, I’m assuming with all of the other Napoleonic subjects, we’re kind of a backwoods.

I too look forward to seeing more of your AWI figures when you get them finished, Bill! Even seeing the raw castings would be interesting to me as well.

Re: Bills stuff
Thanks Red, I will certainly post the artillery when I get around to it, but that is a ways off, I have plenty of other stuff to get to first.
Thanks Pete. Here's some pictures of the grenadier command.

And a cannon and crew with tricorns. The cannon won't sit on it's wheels without them being glued in place.

They are really shiny new, so they are a little hard to photograph and see the detail, and I didn't clean them up any, so there is a little flash, but nothing a few passes with a blade can't take care of. When I get to the artillery, I'll go "full Pete" and drill the barrel.

Thanks for the photos of the unpainted grenadiers and artillery, Bill! They do look very nice. I may end up getting some of these as I don't expect GHQ will decide to do another line of 10mm figures anytime soon.

Yeah, I don’t see that happening either, that’s why since I’d forgotten to order marching grenadier command, I decided to branch out my paint range yet again to Great War 10mm.

Re: Bills stuff
I think you are right on that one, Bill. I don't see GHQ doing any more 10mm lines such as AWI and don't expect they will be adding to their existing 10mm Civil War and Napoleonic lines either.
I will be interested to see your 10mm WWI figures although I don't think this is an area I plan to get into. If GHQ decided to do a 6mm WWI line I might take the plunge but I still have tons of WWII and Cold War era Modern stuff to paint.
I have not painted anything for almost three months now but ready to get back to it soon.
