Yes it is the old Boeing 707 airframe.

Karmanaskis is becoming concerned aboot the advances of the NC military, especially in the aeronautical field.
Counter measures will need to be found.
This 'Goose Works' has to be plucked.

Ohhh, the CoC doesn’t concern ourselves too much with NC, etc. only close member of the Commonwealth is Greenlanddom. We are hopeful that NC will continue to be peaceful. The NC Coast Guard has visited ships for inspections that have utilized the N.W. Passage. Their new E-3 707 is effective for airspace.

Re: Canada (Imagi-Nation)
Avro Canada has received a government contract from the RCAF, to produce a recon aircraft with comparable performance to the ROD's SR-71 Blackbird. The Company stated that they will work hard to get a prototype ready over the August long weekend.

It is with great honour to announce that the NC Government has awarded the Order of New Canada to "Buffalo" Bill of Buffalo Airways for his decades of dedication to provide the remote community's in NC's Arctic with essential supplies needed to remain functional. In addition to the award the NC government has provided funding to help restore its old fleet of DC-4's back to flight status and to compliment its Electra fleet and contracted Pratt & Whitney New Canada to restart production of the Twin Wasp Radial engines in order to provide spare engines and parts to keep their old planes flying.

Avro Canada proudly presents their prototype Mach 3 recon aircraft, the Avro CL-730. The 730 will begin its initial flight this week. with the Mach 3 flight test later on over the weekend. But the aircraft will be remotely controlled for that test, for safety reasons. This project the company hoped will be Avro's Finest they ever done.

Re: Canada (Imagi-Nation)
The first normal flight of the CL-730 prototype has gone off smoothly over the skies of the Avro plant in Toronto Ontario. The First Supersonic flight will begin this Saturday. At that point the CL-730 will be remotely operated from a Lockheed Electra Chase plane the Mach 3 flight test will last 5 mins.
Elsewhere, Canadiar is having a go at the two seater AEW concept, despite the RCAF accepting the old E-3 Sentry's into service. They are going to try adapting their CF-32 into a AEW variant.

Re: Canada (Imagi-Nation)
The Mach 3 Test flight began this morning, as the Remotely piloted CL-730 prototype enters supersonic speeds for the first time, the crew on Avro's Grey Ghost monitors the 730s performance as it managed to pass Mach 2.2 until the aircraft's aluminum skin started to lose strength, and the test was concluded quickly in order to save the prototype. the 730 prototype will have to be reworked in order to get it to the same level as the SR-71 Blackbird. Avro Canada will petition the Government and the RCAF, to provide additional funding for the project.

Re: Canada (Imagi-Nation)
After two days of negotiations Avro Canada has secured additional funding for the CL-730 prototype. The engineers at Avro suggested to acquire Titanium from Titan mining inc here in Ontario and rebuild the CL-730 in that material, they hope that it will allow the aircraft to reach Mach 3 speeds. The head of Avro agrees.
Also a RCAF General named John Doddle, is petitioning the return of the two seater AWAC project, as he theorizes that in future wars aginest the EE, the big and slow AWAC's like the E-3 are going to be easy targets for the enemy, but as he suggests, if the AWAC has the same performance as a fighter, it will be able to avoid enemy fire with ease and even fight back if necessary.
