The … XEM-52 …Commo/Command RV, is a prototype vehicle for Government leaders and Flag Officers in the field. They are expected to be able to get a good meal and a great night’s rest. Testing and evaluation will continue. Rumors of the XEM-50 are completely false, no such vehicle exists, according to Air Force Lt. Colonel Juan Hopper, in the Public Affairs & Mis-Information Dept at The Castle.

The name of this M113 is SNAFU. Who knows what that means? Worth 25 points.

I started this application of the French Marines, naval landing with four poor AMX-10P hulls, 10 years ago, maybe. I put the CinC Sagine F-4 turrets on them.
Concept works. So I used 2 CinC hulls of AMX-10P withe the F-4 turret. Still needed to cut the stem off and/or widen the hole.
Since I was using the F-4 turret on CinC Sheridan hull for the M-8… have plenty and I have not used them in a game. So I disassembled the M-8.
Now I have 12 AMX-10 PAC, which was developed for the export market. Indonesia uses them. I think my FFL may need to use them…?

Thank you Mike. Appreciate your effort and organization with the Tankers’ Ball.

PREFER CLOSED CARGO AREA!!
One reason I like enclosed cargo area in the back of a truck is the vast majority of the time I paint the truck and the canvas coving over the cargo area. If I want a flat-bed I cut the canvas off, glue styrene down. But when trucks are open top in the cargo area, either I exclude that vehicle, minimize the purchase of that item. Then I need to make a cargo (Harpoon missiles, tow-crane, ATACMS, or a kitbash) of some sort.

Here are a couple of bases using a hotel room card after primed black, vehicle and trailer glued down.
I used styrene for the trailer arm which I glue to the back of the truck. Especially if using then plastic, it’s more sturdy.
The first picture is using primed thin plastic.

Image

These two are based on room key cut to an estimated CM width. I typically cut angles. I will paint black around the base.

Edges are Painted black, still drying.
